①Turner’s fifth cusp
The smallest distal cusp is also referred to as the fifth cusp.
②Oblique ridge
The union of the distal buccal central occlusal surface and the mesiolingual distal accessory ridge.
③Postcusp (Metaconule)
A ridge from the distal buccal cusp may form a tubercle near the central groove.
④Carabelli tubercle
An accessory cusp may sometimes appear on the lingual mesial cusp of the maxillary first molar.
⑤Primitive cusp
(protocone)

An accessory cusp may form at the mesial marginal ridge.
